Exellent dude! I think I'm gonna start a thread with the hebrew word of the day. Oh.. and yes it is a 94 Brat. some day I'll start a thread about the Israeli Subaru market (1 out of 5 cars in Israel is a Subaru) and all of the special models we have over here

The Power difference is HUGE but not only to the dual carbs setup but to a different cam and higher cr ratio (9.5) stock from factory the engine specs are: 110ps@6000rpm and 15kgm@4000rpm for more info and pics go to :http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/80s/projectrudy/rudy.html BTW: I get much better MPG then my older stock one carb engine

Hey guys! to the request of alot of people on the board - here is a link to pictures ofmy 94 Brat. those pictures were taken after swaping the engine to a JDM ea81 true dual carbs and the oval dual exhaust ports. Thanks for the answers guys but Scorpion only makes a 2 inch kit and the BYB also wont answer my E-mails.

Hey guys it's been a few monthes that I'm E-mailing Pkdavis about a lift kit and no responde have arrived so if any one of you has a spare or altarnet kit please E-mail me, I also might trade a dual carb intake with the two carbs on it!

Hey boz you're right about the spare manifold+carbs. if I won't need any of it's parts i don't have any problem donating it to the board (as long as it's worth it - not too expansive to ship it)

Hey guys althou I'm not one who post often on the board I'm not a newbie here at all. to those who don't know me (most of you) my name is Roi and I'm from Israel. I own a very sweet 94 DL BRAT 90k on the clock I bought the subie about 19 month ago and since then I only changed the stock rim,BUT every month I put a few $ aside just for future upgrading. my curent story begins about a month ago when a lawned the subie to a friend (after countless naging), now comes the sad part of the story: it was about 12:00, I was at work when I heard the phone ring: "hey mate I think something is wrong with your car" (heart stopps for a sec.) "there is some smoke comming out of it". long story short the engine was so fried the block cranked and all the engine bay was full of oil (or so i heard - I was to afried to look at it). o.k after a few drinks to num the pain (and a few beatting to the ex-friend) i decided to move on and look for the purfect engine! a note: Israel was the second largest subie market in the 80s (evry 5th car in Israel is a subie) so part are plantyfull BUT!! only 1% of those cars were 4wd! (we have so many brats in Israel but they are all 2wd-ea71). I knew I have an hard task on hands but after a while I heard of a dude who has ea81s and when I went to is shop there it laied: A JDM ea81 dual carbs,after a few happy tears the guy comes to me and says "oh and I'll add an extra dual manifold with the two carbs on it!!!!!" so now the subie is in the shop and hopfully I'll take it to a test drive on sunday (pics and updates will be added soon)

Hey guys. as far as diesel engines, I heard that Subaru is going to put their first diesel engine in the new Legacy. anyway here in Israel the Subaru can come with a special gas adapter wich can use cooking gas and still use the regular fuel system (push button). I don't know whats the cooking gas price is in the states but in Israel it's about 1/3 of the fuel price. as far as pollution the gas is much cleaner then both diesel and gasoline. some reports even says that the engine has more with the gas then the gasoline. I would have bought the system but I have a carb. engine (94 Brat) so I don't think I can use the system.
