Good... I had to sell them both in late 05 when I moved back to FL. Just got another 79 brat about less than a year ago. Almost all done fixin her up. Shes getting painted now in the shop. Had a great time back then. Thanks for all your help.....

Holy S#*t Miles you serious. When you came out to Akron, Ohio to work on my subes back in 05 we had a good time. You worked on my 78 and 82 brats if you remember. Went out to the clubs and everything. I cant believe sometimes that there are people out there like that. Hope you find the bastard!!!!!

Yup theres a clip. You can even get it with a small needle nose pliers as well. Please post more pics of your brat as well when you can. Would love to see it.

YEAHHHHH!!! Got it back today. It had a lot of problems with steady idleling and stalling due to carb issues. My mechanic cleaned up the carb and semi rebuilt it. I also put in a new radiator too. Mine was slowly leaking. Running like a champ now. Got a few intrior pieces coming for Maddcelt here soon to complete my interior somewhat... Next is to hook up the cd player for some tunes and I think Im ready to get this baby painted. I also have the targa stripe to go one it after paint thanks to Pooparu and an A style pushbar as well. Soon to be complete...

Where was this?? In FL?? I havent seen anything around here at all. Ive been looking for 5 years. So recently I purchased one from Arizona and shipped it here. Its a 79 Brat. It sucks that you missed out. What happen??

I dont have the hot air tube attached to the carb but as far of it icing, I live in south FL. Its been cold but not that cold. I was thinking the carb issues with the cold weather or the fuel pump on its way out. Not sure yet. Havent had any time to look at it some more due to working alot!!!!:-\ It does start right up after it stalls. So I beleive its getting the gas but theres a spot where it wants to die when driving every so often.

Fuel filter is new twice over since Ive owned it for 6 months or so. My mechanic thinks its carb related and due to the really cold weather isnt helping.
