well you said this was a 1985 right? well this is a section for 1958-1980 except for the 1981brat, sooo...... try posting in the old gen vehicles, you might get more replies. but that sure is a weird vin, including that 7 as the 4th character

[Problem starting]

To check the pressure of the fuel pump you have to press, by a bence,the returning hose of the fuel.

If then it is Ok,it is a fuel pump failure.

Otherwise you have to check the front lambda(oxygen)sensor.

If I remember well the Peugeot 504 was equipped with 14' rims(Dunlop style) and the 505 with 15'.

my 1973 DL 4door Sedan has 4 drums and I think there is not residual valve.

there is,only,a brake line spliter...

I would like to put a tandem M/C using the equivalent spliter.

also... does anyone know of a larger rotor size that fits the front / rear stud pattern?

 

Using larger rotor size you must  use and the equivalent calipers or caliper adaptors....

Simplest upgrade is the ventilated discs and rotors from a Gen2 (1983+). These brakes are mounted on my 1974 DL Sedan:

 

 

As noted by others the rear disc brakes from turbo Gen 3 models can be made to fit, there is some grinding and cutting of the rear trailing arm but certainly well worth the effort!

 

 

 

Your 1974 DL Sedan was originally equipped with all wheel drum brakes????

I am a little bit confused.

I have in mind to build a 1973 4Door Sedan as rally car of the era(VHC).

I must use the EA71 engine(fat case) and I have to use some 5speed gearbox with the  closest possible gear ratios(for rally use).

To build some custom gear ratios to be used with the top starter 5speed EA71 gearbox,it is very expensive to me,with unknown success(reliability).

In other hand I am searching if there is some other SUBARU FWD 5speed gearbox with close ratios to be used directly with some kind of adaptor.....
