Mine are standard Jap import 101hp EA81 dual carb motor carbs, in other words Craptachi's. I've got some IDF 36's to go on, just need to make a new set of intake manifolds which I really should get around to soon as my car bearly drives atm when cold and not to great when warm.
A single weber is better then dual hitachi's IMO.
any progress on quad carb(IDF) heads(EA71)???

I think the photo of the secret bits is the key , put together with a few comments by a rally fabricator I had fix my bullbar, many years ago. Brian was a Kiwi, and in the workshop of a big time Aussie rally champ. He told me that back in the day of the EA81 Subaru sold a 4WD sedan in NZ, but not here in Oz ( must be our better roads ) and he addedd that Subaru sold a kit to end up with twin webers mounted directly over the heads. Guess that is the head in the picture of parts - a 4 port head for EA81 - a performance enhancement over their already sought after now EX IN IN EX arranged EA81S twin Hitachi engine.
Man, a four port head on an EA81S, or any EA81 would be a snorting beast, maybe impossible to drive daily in traffic ??
Someone get onto a Chinese based foundry to make new ones ! !!
Any news about this Chinese operation ????

-
what brake fluid exactly must be used in the ff1 brake system?????
-
What about the other blue ff1 project????
Any progress????
-
hello,
You beleave that these modifification could be done on the EA 71,EA 61 and EA 63 heads, too?
You are thinking to weld,on the heads, alloy tubes?
The angle of the welded alloy tubes it is important for the easy change of the spark plugs
-
Sure , as I get the chance I will.
OK,thank you....
-
You DO NOT want an EA63
EA71 , for sure.
Good luck.
OK,thank you .
Could you, please,to let me know if you have got some manuals, etc in pdf form, concerning the ff1 and the first generation of LEONEs ?
It could be very useful to me.

Where have you found your information on the Leones so far? Do you have documents? I'd like to try to cross-reference with some Baja racing setups.
Let me know if you would like knowing something about tthe old SUBARUs FIA homologation forms to pm you.it.
