  1. Hi, I could be wrong but I believe the 1999 SUS as a model were all Limited Editions because they were made as a 30th anniversary edition. However, in the model year of legacy's limited editions came with leather interior, sunroof, and heated seats I believe as standard. I think you are running into the difficulty because it was a limited run of the vehicles not necessarily a "Limited" version of the vehicle. Try contacting the Subaru dealer in your area and get them to give you specific information on your car. You can also do the online "I want to trade my car" thing and give all the info on your car and see what they come back with. Hope that helps!
  2. I'm going to preface my answer with I AM NOT A MECHANIC... but here is my 2 pennies worth. I would sooner go with the Legacy Outback springs because you are staying within the same platform. The Forester is built on the impreza chassis in Japan, the Legacy, Legacy Outback, Baja, and Tribeca I believe, are all built on the Legacy chassis in Indiana. Putting the springs from a smaller platform vehicle (Forester) on a Larger platform Legacy seems counter intuitive to me. It may be sound advice but personally I wouldn't. The springs from an Outback (NOT OUTBACK SPORT) would make more sense to me. Again I am not a mechanic, never even played one one TV.
  3. Hi and thank you...there are only a few systems affected...wouldn't a bad alternator affect the car system wide? Don't get me wrong an alternator I can do and it's easy so I'm all for this being the problem I just thought if it was going I would see all systems failing not components.
  4. Hi, Subaru's have always had a reputation of having the body rust out LONG before the engine died. The AWD system in the Subaru is FANTASTIC and way better than 4WD. You also benefit from the lower sitting horizontally opposed engine. If you are going to be riding around in snow country leave the Acura wherever you found it and buy the Subaru! From a reliability stand point they are pretty equal, getting from point A to point B in all kinds of weather Subaru Takes It HANDS DOWN. The added ground clearance, AWD system and added to the power plant's reliability are VERY difficult to beat and the Acura does not even come close.
  5. Hello, I have a 2006 B9 Tribeca and all at once I lost the Radio, CD player, the NAV info Screen, DVD Player, interior lights, the temperature indicator on the climate control knobs, and the garage door opener. The gauge control lights seem a bit dim too but that could jut be my imagination... Nothing flashing or blinking just not working. It does not come on when the car is started totally dead. I have checked EVERY fuse in the car and all are good. Any suggestions? Thanks Joe
