Here is my question of those of you that have oil tempurature guages. What is the normal temp of the engine oil? With a cooler? Without a cooler? For those of you that have technical knowledge about oil and temperatue, at what temperature does engine oil start to breakdown at an excessive rate? What should be the maximum oil temperature before I should start to get concerned? Thanks,

I am in the same area and given the reliability of the EA 81's and the supply of rust free units I would go with that. A lot of wagons in this area.

I am not a master, but it sounds to me based on the sudden onset and the description of the problem that you have a restriction (not a leak) in the exahust. Possibly caused by an interior piece of Cat Converter breaking loose and jaming inside the exahust pipe/muffler. Just a thought.

Yes, I still have them. I haven't done anything with them since you dropped them off. They are yours if you want them. The price is the same as I paid. We will have to figure out a time to get together. When you come, drive the Brat so I can see it as it is now!
