Well i dont have ac on my brat, but knowing that power steering is going to rob power us making me reconsider now... you had to grind down the ps crossmember? Everything ive read up till now has said its a direct bolt in :/

Been looking into upgrading my 84 brat with power steering. Was curious if power steering setup off of a ea82 would work on an ea81 engine? Or do I need a ea81 donor car?

youll just want to pull the planters off the drivers seat, or maybe just switch the 2 on the passenger seat. should be 2 bolts on each planter holding em in, very straight forward

update, found some good replacement seats for the brat. sabb 900 front seats, take the rails off, mark the holes 12 deep and 16 in wide, the just drill em out and bolt up the old brat planters to the bottom, snd wal-la!

Ya, the first gen has a torsion bar. So are the xt coilovers a direct swap? Or do they require some modifications?

for the rear? Ive only ever seen shocks back there, never coilovers.

Im needing to replace my shocks and struts soon, was thinking coilovers would be a nice upgrade, but as far as I can tell theres zero support for aftermarket suspension parts for 1st gen brats. Has any body else found parts that suit a brat? Maybe something from another car?

So I recently went to install both front axels on my lifted 87 GL but everytime after installing them and putting the roll pins in, the drivers side axel would chew up the roll pin and the axel would come loose from the transmission. Anybody ran into this before? Any ideas for solutions? Thanks in advance for any help
