wasn't there a thread about how to adjust the ride height on a brat by about an inch or two, by adjusting some bolts around the torsion bar? I can't seem to find the thread if there ever was one dedicated to just this subject.

I know they're sealed, not sure what size off the top of my head, go to autozone or any parts store, theyll have them in stock for reference

Did you go througg the mounting bar or use brackets?

I recently saved a set of jump seats and I am trying to figure out the best way to reinstall them into my brat, so that they can be easily removed and put back in as needed, instead of welding them into place. So I guess my question is, whats everyones expereince with installing these without welding them into place? Pictures would be great, as im trying to figure out how i want to install mine. Thanks!

Been looking into getting 15 inch rims for my 1980 brat, so I have more tire options. Has any one here ever put 15's on a 1st gen without a lift? Any clearance issues, or any other issues?

Tried that, didn't work....

my 80 brat came with both sides, but they fall out of place when you hit a bump :/ i've seen after market mirrors at autozone that will fit, also check ebay, there is all kinds of mirrors that will fit.

Will 15's fit without a lift?

Just looking to get some input from the group I'm looking into getting some new tires for my brat likely all terrain or something similar. 13 inch rims, no lift as of yet. What perferms the best, and what the best bang for the buck is. anything to steer clear of? Thanks in advance

It's a 1/2 inch thread, but most after market knobs come with additional hardware that makes them universal.

my roomate turned me on to this stuff, seems to work, but kinda wierd how it can make such a difference.

Curious if anyone here has installed a turbo on a ea71 brat?? if so, what kind of turbo kit is needed? Just doing a little research it looks like it could be a major pain to install turbo on a carbed car? is this correct? Also, any other ideas for HP gains?
