  1. Okay..I've been searching for an Impreza for my daughter. She starts driving in Sept. and I think I've found the car for her. It's located in Carnegie, PA. Unfortunately I live about 4hrs away. Listing says it needs work, but that's not a problem. I just need someone to (when I get the okay) go check it out for me and let me know if it is safe to stick a 16 yr. old in and what I should expect. Last Impreza I bought for her was eBayed as a great car, but in fact was in a rear end accident and there were bunches of problems the lister never mentioned, hence I sold it and bought my SVX. I just don't want to stick her in something that isn't safe or needs super major work. If anyone is willing you can email me at subbyru89 at AOL dot COM subject:Carnegie (otherwise the email will just slip through) Thanks in advance, Melis
  2. I can work in my sleep:rolleyes:
  3. I had a dream that we went canoeing, but Bucky was the canoe...hmmm, maybe a future project?
  4. Well, let see. The cats were hyper and decided to use my face as a race track (guess they wanted to relive X13) at 7am, then I couldn't fall back to sleep so I decided to mess around before work (work = joke) got here at 10am (figured I come in at the normal time) and now 45 minutes later I'm finished and am heading home to do whatever. Inefficient my butt.
  5. You are such the LIAR! Anywho, Bucky is looking great (never doubted you) and do not sell the Imp. If anything should happen (knock on wood it doesn't) and you don't have the "back up" car you will be going crazy again. We don't want that. You've got this job so now just remember the redneck budget and all will be fine.
  6. Funny:-p We are already planning next year. She corrected me by saying she does not hate going to the Dragon. She just gets bored sometimes when there is nobody to hang with so next year she wants to bring her friend so we'll see how this all goes down.
  7. Only for a month. Long drama story, but I much prefer her to be single, less stress on me and school will be starting soon no time for boys. She's been in honor roll for the past 2 yrs and I like to keep it that way.
  8. Jefferey! I'm mommy and daddy rolled into 1...sorry, I think you are a great person, but honestly she's too smart for you (and she's only 16) thank god you live way west:lol:
  9. Thanks for the heads up Rob..I'll keep my 16 yr. old by my side. Kimberley (mine) Alyssa (her friend) Not match.com...just got some good looking kids
  10. just to add...when doing your brushes or just cleaning out the dust you can clean the copper part your brushes ride on with brillo...I had a write up about this whole subject (with pics) but unfortunately they are being held hostage in XT6.net Side note...the "lid" you pull off when taking it apart...be careful because it is fragile and if hit hard enough it will break in 2. Best to try and seat it on it as best you can and then lightly massage the lid in place.
  11. Rob's awesome. Connie kept us all informed on his where abouts and happenings (didn't want to over text the poor gent) so glad he made it home safe now he's just gotta catch up on his sleep and get that bug crap off his baby:grin: We'll let you know when we will be heading yor way. Can't wait, between the conversations with some of you and the Zap movies always being watched I'm stoked.
  12. It's funny to see guard rails without anything like drop offs behind them (I guess cows can be deadly) Glad you had no major troubles. Connie called about the critter and we all were quite worried about you. Definately plans are in the works for the East to meet the West.
  13. It was really great to finally meet you and admire your ride.
  14. That makes 3 of us with the badged computer...I think the paper wedgie is adorable.
  15. The XT..that'd be Turbone's beautiful little boxer, that handles the Dragon like a dream.
  16. Don't let Rocky read this...actually I think he was too busy looking at Princess's butt to remember to give you crap. He's an a$$ car:lol:
  17. Hey if the West doesn't want you the East will take you...we live for comedy :-p Oh and sorry about the marshmellow:grin:
  18. No fear...it only killed a few brain cells, but wow was I wacked:lol: Got it buttoned up and no problems after that (I felt like I was driving a yacht for that first hour after that I think I slept) Love the hatch!
  19. That was a great group shot...Harrison Ford would be very proud:grin:
  20. Definately for sure...I'll be checking on the other stuff available since this year I actually grabbed the literature...
  21. Again it was another great year at the Dragon. Camping wasn't bad ('cept for those huge spiders that whip out their social security when you walk by and the bathroom accomadations <insert puking smiley here>) Beautiful cars and great company..who could ask for more! On our way south the SVX started sputtering and acting funny so I pulled over and popped the hood. It turned out to be that #6 coil that everyone jokes about, but thank god it acted up because gas was shooting out the little hose on top of the engine:eek: . Got the spare coil in and the hose fixed and away we went...no more problems YAY! Connie's wedding was the most casual and quickest wedding evAR...should be in the Guinness book. Confussed about the proceedings as Rob stands at her side while the priest gives his little speech. She starts to point at Tommy and says...
  22. Out of all my years I still have not gone to that one. I usually hit the Giants Despair in Wilkes-Barre/Laurel Run which is also a mound of burning coal. Only difference is people still choose to live there. Guess it saves on heating during those cold nights. So yeah anyway sounds like a good time, if time permits I just might venture. Smiles, Melis
  23. Haha maybe it's the predictability. Like he says as soon as he comes home he knows what mood you are in by the position of the vehicle(s). What man wouldn't like to be able to read his woman like that? It could also be that you let him walk outside in just his skins:lol: Thinking maybe I'll go in to work in an hour or so (come and go as I please) do what needs done, then take tomorrow off. Need help in the am? Smiles, Melis
