  1. actually i cant, since i dont have any pics of it with those tires on it, and when gas prices when sky high i sold the tires and went back to stock size tires...... but i can tell you that all i did for lift was put some outback struts in....... yup, thats it.. got about an inch and a half or so and with the higher spring perch on the strut that allowed for the use of bigger tires.......unfortunately its going to be awhile before i can get big tires again.....:-\:-\:-\:-\

  2. well the car is imaculate... super clean inside and out and it has 117,000 on it, hes asking $4,800 for it, which seems reasonable to me since my parents paid more than that for their legacys of the same year...... if i do get it i will swap out the motor just for the simple fact that i like having the 2.2 in the impreza, and maybe someday, i'll have a 2.2 turbo. but i need to find a second job so i can buy the car and pay it off super quick so i can then start to modify it...... any sugestions as what to change first? i was thinking stiffer struts with some lowering springs, then some 16's or 17's to improve the handling of it....

  3. being a unibody the "no door" idea to me sounds like death to the car...... the doors do play an imortant part to the structure of the vehicle. eliminating them completely would cause the car to sag in the middle over time.... being that its an old car, it probably wouldnt take very long to do it either......

  4. ive got impreza on the brain. i found the car i want, only problem, it has the motor that i really dont want... the ej18 (:mad: gutless turd bucket:mad: )... so, heres the question. is a 95 ej18 an obdII motor? because i would really love to just swap over the motor from my 90 legacy, but if i cant, then i'll just have to save even more money to go for a 2.5......... thanks for any and all info......:)

  5. i saw an xt6 on my way home the other day, it was at a dealership, i didnt stop to look at it, but i probably will soon..... what kind of prices should i be looking for to get a good deal on it? i dont know how many miles are on it, i believe its a full time 4wd, dont know if its a m/t or an a/t... just lookin to see if i might have an xt6 in my future.... if its in my price range...

  6. i have a 90 legacy wagon and it is a huge improvement over the 89 gl that i used to drive. more power and torque, better handling, better gas mileage, more comfortable, just all around better. im getting a pretty consistent 25 mpg doing mostly city driving as i am only on the highway for about 10 minutes every day..... the best part about the newer cars, the power is there when you need it!!!

  7. you could also try getting a stock exhaust for a 2.5 gt. it will be slightly larger in diameter than the stock 2.2 exhaust. all you have to do is find someone willing to give you their old pipes after they ahve upgraded. or you could just simply buy the setup for the 2.5 motor. the bends and setup is the same as the 2.2, just larger diameter and might cost a little more, but should fit just like a stock setup.
