anyone know why all the online places are sold out of the Exedy Clutch kit?

I have recently pulled and EA81 complete, I used Nylon rock climbing strap about 1.5 - 2" wide. I would suggest using something like a tiedown strap from home depot, no need for a chain. I would take the strap and pass it under one of the heads then cross over to the other side of the engine and pass under the other head. Then tie loops on both ends and use a carabiner to hook them together. Then hook the plance on top where the strap crosses eachother onto the hook of the hoist. This way the load will be balanced and you will not have to worry about it tilting one way or the other.

So I have finally found a '95 legacy that was smashed in the back. I am going to pull the engine out and swap it into the Brat. I have read most post on this board about the swap and from that have gotten a general sence of direction I want to go. I would love it if someone restated just for my reassurance what I need to pull out of the 95 legacy to comeplete the swap. I also had a question where I should adjust the holes in the current crossmember for the EJ22 mounts or use the legacy crossmember and somehow bolt that on the the Brat frame rails? What parts of the wiring harness do I need to keep? Anything other then the ones attaching to the engine?

reviving the thread from the dead, it looks like they finally made a perfect track for a subaru: http://litefootatv.com/ Thier new version of the ATV tracks has a load rating of 3500 pounds. And it would seem that they are only $5K now. Who would like to test those out?
