  1. It's too bad I didn't see this until today, since I LIVE in Cheyenne... There's always next time I guess...
  2. Sorry, guys... But the Tribeca is THE UGLIEST waste of metal I have EVER seen in my life... I certainly hope this is some kind of sick joke by the Subaru manufacturers... By the way, at first glance, I thought I was looking at a Nissan Murano... Way to stand out from the crowd, Subaru. This car will forever be referred to from my mouth as the "rebadged Murano with an uglier grill." I really don't even know if Subaru designed this themselves or if they just broke into Nissan's headquarters on night... I'm thoroughly disgusted with this vehicle. I haven't driven one, and I would rather keep it that way. Subaru has awesome vehicles like the Legacy, Impreza, Forester, and Outback. Why would they do something like this, especially after redesigning their lineup? The B9 is a nice way to overshadow ANYTHING good that Subaru has ever put out, and if that's not what they were looking for, then there must be some pretty thick-headed people heading up the company. I saw this car for the first time this afternoon on my way to work. I went to the Subaru dealership on my break, praying that the Subaru emblem I saw on the grille was my mind playing tricks on me. Unfortunately, I wasn't having a bad dream... That's about all I can say, unless you want to read more rambling and ranting... I haven't owned a Subaru in several years, and never have bought a new one, but Subaru has always been my favorite manufacturer, but they're doing a good job of throwing my positive opinion about them down the drain...
  3. Scratch that... If I talk to the kid's mom, I may be able to get it for free... It's the dad that wants $200...
  4. I can't seem to find my ea82 Subaru repair manual anwhere... I'm looking at possibly getting a killer deal on an 87 or something like that wagon, apperantly it just needs a water pump... I'm probably looking at it tonight or tomorrow... But for $200, it might be worth it even if there's more. If someone wouldn't mind scanning the pages that say how to replace that, that would be awesome...
  5. Awwww man, can't go....................... I'll be far far away from home for 3.5 months starting the 14th Maybe next time.... And maybe I'll have a Subaru by then
  6. Very nice... Now figure out a solid front axle and a V8... few more inches of lift... maybe 33" tires...
  7. Who's the Colorado dude with the Brat on 31's??? I saw he showed up, didn't get to meet him or take a pic of his truck though :eh: :eh: maybe some other time
  8. Or maybe I'll wait, I can't seem to log in to the gallery area... Do I need a seperate password or something?
  9. Yeah, I'm not THAT desperate! I got my pictures, so I'm happy... I'll upload them here in a sec
  10. Found this at http://www.fordtruckworld.com and I'm planning to go if I have enough gas money... My brother and I are probably going to go to the Colorado Mills Mall or Westminster Mall, but we'll all end up at Buckingham Square Mall either way, so if anyone wants to do it I'll look for ya :santa: Link to flyer
  11. Today I helped a friend of mine find his car that was towed recently... We found it at Lincoln Valley Auto Salvage... So we went back to his house to get the key so we could get his stuff out of the car, and he's gonna just leave the car there to die So we came back but the guy we needed to talk to wasn't there, so we decided to wait. We also decided to go walk around the yard and see what kind of cars were out there... So we're looking and crawling over cars and trying not to die. I saw a few dead K5's, several Scout 80/800's, 2 Scout II's, and my friend started fiddling around with a Cavalier. It almost started with the key that was in the ignition, and while he was doing that I walked over and looked at a 50's International pickup. I turned around and looked over to the East of an old Volvo, and saw the unique and distinct rear end of an Impreza So I went closer hoping I was wrong and there are cars I don't know about that look like Impreza's. So I climbed over the Volvo, carefully trying not to knock over a car that was balanced on top of another, and found the rest of the Impreza. I got in and looked around in the glove box and found the owner's manuals and stuff, it's a 93, AWD, 5 speed, power everything, the body is PERFECT ( again) except a few missing badges and a messed up front bumper. It needs two new tires too. So I'm thinking this is the most awesome thing ever because I've been wanting to find a cheap 93ish Impreza, and I thought maybe I could get this thing towed to my house cheap and play around with stuff till it decides to run. My friend and I went back to the office and asked about it, and the guy said that once the cars go out in the yard they stay for a while so people can buy parts, then they go to the crusher. The worst part is they won't sell whole cars, only parts :madder: So there goes my cool idea of the day... Tomorrow we're going back to see the guy we needed to see today, and I'm gonna take the camera and get some pics of it... If I can't buy it I at least want pictures :eh:
  12. Ummm.... I don't really know the Estes Park area too well, I haven't been up there since I was a kid (bout 6 years ago )... But looking at http://www.4x4trails.net, there are quite a few around Ft. Collins/Poudre Canyon. Most of them are rated at 4 or higher though, might be a bit much for even a lifted 'ru... Although if I keep my Explorer, I have a lift kit in the mail that should be here any day now. Moody Hill just west of Ft. Collins kicked my rump roast in September and I want to go show it who's the boss :temper: Whatever happened to Mr. Savage anyway?!?! I used to like watching him in WCW... but those f***ers from the WWF (Russo and some other guy if I remember right) screwed up wrestling forever, so I haven't watched since the nWo was the big thing... :headbang:
  13. I think I was the only Wyomingite on here for a long time , at one time there was someone else from Wyoming... I think Laramie, but not sure... But anyway, we're special and stuff... About the whole meet thing, it sounds like a good idea, but Iowa's a little far... and isn't it a bit flat too? Maybe we could get one going in Colorado... Up around Estes Park or in the Poudre Canyon would be awesome There are also some dunes near Walden, Colorado... I went wheeling there in April in my Explorer... seems like it'd be fun in the summer when it's not all snowy and muddy...
  14. Hey, I'm from Cheyenne.... I don't know the Casper area too well, but if you're willing to drive 3 hours for wheeling, you could go play on some of the forest roads in the Vedauwoo area... You can order a map of the area that lists most of the roads from somewhere... If I find the place I'll post it up... The map is pretty accurate... I did find one area I wanted to explore that was closed down, and several roads that aren't on the map. Some spots were a bit challenging in my stock Explorer, so I'm sure it'd be a bit of a challenge in a 'ru. If you ever want to get together, let me know... I'm looking at selling my Explorer in the near future for another Subaru, so we might be evenly matched even
  15. Thanks.... is there a website, or do I have to go to Ft. Collins when I'm ready to buy a car?
  16. Hey, all you Wyoming peeps... I'm here representing Cheyenne... At the moment I have an Explorer, but I'm on the lookout for a Subaru to take to college in COLORADO, where I was born, raised, and belong
  17. It'd be nice if you could just beat the crap out of him... But let's not take the above advice and break his nose, cuz then you'll get in trouble too, and that would just suck :bday:
  18. that's awesome! I agree, painting a car is a lot of work... I spray painted my Explorer in the driveway in Wyoming over a few months (stupid wind never stops here)... It doesn't look bad, but a lot of work... and despite my efforts to cover the glass, I got overspray all over the place from the wind, so I had to get all that off the windows :madder:... But yeah... I still like your paint job
