  1. Was just out there tonite:) I work everyday from 8 untill 5 or later. I don't think I can make it again:(
  2. Sorry, I can't really tell what part of the car that is from the pic. What is the white stuff? Somehthing looks amiss with it tho. If you can get some more pics, I could probably help a little better. allenwest- The gasket you speak of, is just an exterior molding. It's just cosmetic and yea..expensive. Sometimes, when we shoot the glue, we shoot it a tad off. If it is too high, it could just touch the molding, and not adhere to the glass. That is what causes leaks most of the time. I mean..it happens. With my shop's rules tho, if we have to come back a 3rd time, we pull the old glass and put a new one in.
  3. Depending on how old your car is it could be unseen rust around the pinchweld that is the problem. Is it leaking at all? Have you ever gotten your window replaced when you had owned the vehicle? Do you know if the vehicle has had the window replaced prior to you owning it? That is alot of what you would expect to hear at a glass shop. I work for a glass shop, and that is me asking you. Heh. My shop uses a special sealer that I know for a fact works. I know that the silicone stuff you can get at a home repair store doesn't work. My best suggestion is to take it to a local glass shop and have them take a good look at it. I don't know the particulars in your situation, so I can't give you a more definatesolution. But good luck and keep us updated:)
  4. OO!!!! That looks sooo hott!! I want something like that without the hitch tho.
  5. I would like to have my car be the donor. I cannot get it out to him tho. I would be taking the whole plastic bumper off. I know it would look odd with it off tho.
  6. I am interested in making a one off rear tube bumper for my BAJA(Slippy). The front is pretty much taken care of. The rear tho....I keep catching it on bumps and it keeps coming out of the clips. Side note* I was lighty rear ended many months ago, all the top clips came out of the bumper, I never wanted to get it fixed..no time, no other vehicle* Anyway..Anyone else think about doing this for a BAJA? I'm sure you have done it to the older vehicles. I am just looking for tips and ideas. Thanks, Frank X.

  10. Making a snorkel soon. Took out the stock intake because it liked to drink too much water:/ Filter and filterbox is still there, but made a short intake. Lift...when I have enough money. Mudrat: I was thinking about your bumper, then about making one myself. Is your bumper airbag safe? I was going to put hellas up on the cargobox too, but I take it off every now and then. Can you pm me some pics of how you wired them up there? Thanks, Frank X.
