Does anyone know where to find the Cotton White Paint, or Plaza White paint for the '80 Brat? Is that something that you can still buy from Subaru? If so, how do you go about getting it from them?

how hard is it to put a center lamp in a gen one brat? i know someone has done this before!

In Washington its Legal to ride in the bed of trucks or Brats. In any car, as long as all the seat belts available are used, there can be as many passengers as you can fit. In the bed, you're supposed to ride with your back to the cab, but if you can't fit everyone's back against the cab its ok to sit elsewhere in the bed. Im gonna take an educated guess and say that jump seats are perfectly legal, just as others above me have concluded.

How exactly does the bed cover or canvas top attatch to the bed of a Brat? specifically a 1980. I'm looking at one and the guy has this old cover attached with two clamps. IE! It's a factory top.

I'm looking to buy a 1980 Brat thats in emaculant condition:banana: But the guy wants $2500 for it:dead: It does have new paint, practically no rust(just a little surface rust), an extra tranny and 1400 engine, jump seats, cd player with speakers, excellent interior and some other stuff. The blue book is $800, but he's the type of guy who doesn't care if it sells, cause he can put it away and bring it out later and get the big bucks for it. There are some problems with the brakes - the car pulls to the right when braking hard and some other minor work needs to be done. It is the best Brat I've ever seen though. Does anyone know of any brush guards that are offered for the 2000 impreza outback sport? Can the forester's or any other brush guard possibly be used?
