Galen told me you would know about Delta Cams. I'm gettting an engine from ccr, and I wanted to get a torque grinded cam from Delta. Do I have to send my cam to Delta for them to do this, or can I just buy the cam from them? If I can do either, do you know about how much each would be? thanks

Oil Leaks- yeah those could be a problem. Right now, I'm leaking about a quart a day.

Any seen Napoleon Dynamite? Not only is it hella funny, but there's a gen 2 red brat in it. One of the characters drives it. It looks just like spideyz' brat. The first time I saw the movie, I went crazy in the theatres and I was like BRAT! And everyone else was silent and I was like, ignorant bastards.

it's not a blue dash, I think I remember it being black and it had some cracks - maybe it was tan and the seats were black. -

I hope you didn't pay too much for the brat, seahag. If I remember right, that guy who bought it from Ed turned around and jacked up the price hella. But it is a nice brat so welcome to the gen 1 club. -

had similar problems with electrical issues. in fact, I still don't have reverse lights. Could be that some of your grounds are bad, corroded and what not. That fuseable link setup could be doing it along with some other stuff. There are so many grounds, and if one is bad, everything connected to it won't work well. I had to sand down all my connections to get the corrosion off. I don't know if this will help you or not because I atleast had power to my fuse box. Just tonight, I was driving and my lights went out, so I jiggled the wires under the steering column and they came back on. Hope you figure it out. The fsm wire diagram sucks rump roast btw. doesn't tell jack. -

I think the simplist solution is for me to just get another brat. I mean, like qman says, "one for the street and one for the woods."

don't worry GD, If I get a lift, I won't be doin any serious stuff. I already paid for messin around on the ice (snowbanks are dangerous, especially when you have 6 people in the bed and two in the cab, and you misjudge distance!)

dude that is sick like pnuemonia. and I hope its contageous! cuz damn! -
If it's supposed to have keyless entry, there will be a red button under the steering colum, down by the feet. The button might have a black cover on it, but if that is there, then the car had keyless entry. This is the reset button on the remote entry. So if you get some remotes and you have the button, you can reset the remotes to work for your car. If you need a remote I got one for cheap. I might have two, but I don't know where one is.

oh snap! that was sweet - "I give em an 'A' for effort" - that lagacy just couldn't make it, I wanted him to get up there! I liked that brat too. Sick stuff -
I was coming out of church and parked right next to my brat was this red 79 DL front wheel drive coupe - so beautiful. I immediately grabbed my camera from the glove box and began to snap (will post pics later, it was dark so they didn't turn out very good) Next thing I know, this good lookin chick comes walkin out and says its her car. She got it from her grandma, and it only had 65,000 miles on it when she got it. She goes to the University of Washington and she says that it still only has 75,000 miles on it. I couldn't believe it! I was so into the car, I totally forgot her name like 2 seconds after she told me....79 coupe, 79 coupe that was the only name i needed to know...well actually, I should've asked for her number because she was thinking about selling it, and I thought the board would be the best place to start since I know someone here would take good care of it. So I'll try to talk to her again, and actually get her name and number and find out if she really wants to sell it, then I'll get back to the rest of you guys.
