I Just Dont have much money to put into the car right now, so i think that im gonna just add a straight piece but when i went out and looked at the rest of the exhaust and i think that i need to get it all redone, how much does it normally cost at some of those little "alley" muffler shops? oh and no my car isent white, surprised they even found your car man, the cops around here are so lazy its not even funny. -Matt-

Ok So 85-86 4WD ones would be good to get, thanks The Windows Are Different, From what i could tell from looking at both cars, the Windows are Bigger on the DL than the GL on the sides of the window on the GL there are those Big Plastic Pieces Going Around the Corner And its a Little More Rounded. I Could be Wrong. but thats at least what it looked like -Matt-
  3. the Air-Ride of my Car is Messed up So i Want to Replace it with Regular Shocks and Struts, My Question is When i goto the Junk Yard to Pull The New Suspension Does it Matter If i Get it Off of a DL or a GL? Just Asking Cause i Just Replaced my Rear Hatch Door And Had to Get it off of a GL not a DL Wondering if the Same Applys for Shocks and Struts? -Matt-

On my 87 GL-10 Turbo, i was told that i could get a good performance gain if i was to Pound out the Internals of the Cat, Is this True and a Good Thing or should i just remove it completely and replace it with regular Exhaust pipe? i dont have alot of money to do the whole exhaust right now but i want to make the car a little faster. Any Help Would be Great. -Matt-

  6. On my Dash Right by the Park Brake Light There is a Light that Says Door Lock, What does it mean? it blinks a little sometimes, like there is a short or something but i dont know where to look for a short cause i dont know what the light refers to? Any Help Would Be Great. -Matt-
  7. Ok Well I Checked The FI Sensor Connector off today and cleaned it out and sprayed it with some WD-40 and put it back on and now it starts right up and the Check Engine Light Went Away, Im Going to Replace the Air-Ride with Regular Spring/Struts. Thanks for all the Help -Matt-

  9. Nope Its Not the Brakes, Brakes are Good, so i guess my 5 Speed Swap might just come a little quicker than i Thought. -Matt-

Only Time it Makes any Sound is Going Straight When im Off the Gas, Nothing Out of the Ordinary When im on it, and it coming from around the Passinger Side Front Wheel, Sounds like a metal skidplate dragging on the ground, but there is nothin hanging down under the car. :edit: the sound doesent change if im going around a corner or going straight only if im on or off the gas. -Matt-
  11. My Car (87 GL-10 Turbo) Makes a Wierd Noise when i drive it, it Sounds Kinda Like Something Metal Hanging Down on the Ground, I Was Told It Is the CV Joint, Anyone Have Any Experience With This Kinda Thing Or Any Other Ideas On What it Could Be? Its Bothering Me. Thanks -Matt-
  12. Sounds like you have a vaccum leak to me, i'd check all of your vaccum lines, my honda did the exact same thing when i had a cracked vaccum line. -Matt-
  13. Hrm.....i do like the idea of keeping the airbags, but i dont have alot of money to through around, so i guess ill just hafta get some regular struts and springs, would the struts and springs off another subaru non-airride work? or do i need to buy brand new? Thanks for all the Help. -Matt-

Ok ill check on the Collant Sensor today, hopefully that will solve that problem and i will start checking on the 4WD issue, there are no lights on the dash that come on when i hit the button, so maybe i should start with the 4WD solenoid? Anyone have a How-to on replacing it? or chekcing it? Thanks for all the help. -Matt-

Ok i just got my car (87 GL-10 Turbo) and i have a few questions Problem #1: When i first go to start it when its cold it starts right up and runs awesome but once it warms up it doesent want to start as easy and i have to floor it and hold it just to get it to fire up, and when it does is puts out a nice puff of black smoke? and it seems like its running really rich. any ideas on whats wrong with it? Problem #2: the 4WD isent working on it, it has the button for it on the shifter but the rear wheels dont drive it at all with the button on or off, what could this be? the tranny? the Transfercase? the rear end? any help would be greatly appriciated. -Matt-

I just got an 87 GL-10 Turbo, and i think the air ride on it is messed up cause the back end is sitting like way low and it scraps on everything i can hear it click when i hit the height button on the dash and the Height control light comes on but it still doesent do anything, is there anything i can do to the car to help this? :cornfuzz: -Matt-
