  1. That really sucks man, but at least they dident get the tools, that would piss me off more than my CD player.
  2. Well i guess that its Exhaust and yes i do have a cap on it but it comes out anyways i will try replacing the PCV soon
  3. i might try that but i allready have to replace all the seats so i might just take out the carpet when i do that, does anyone make new carpet for the RX or would i hafta do my own?
  4. Does anyone have an unlimited Carfax or Autocheck account that can run the Vin off my RX for me? JF2AG56B3HG808725 Thanks in advance.
  5. Ok Well i got it running now, but the main issue i have is that when its just idleing it blow exhaust out from the Oil Filler Tube But if i rev it up to about 3k it just stops, now this motor does have 192k on it, but it really doesent run that bad. Secondly is there anyway to get the mildew smell out of the car without taking the carpet and everything out? it sat for a few months (close to a year) with the passenger side window down (wouldent go back up) and got rain and snow everywhere. other than that its a pretty good car i think and i cant complain too much i only paid $50 for it.
  6. Damn caleb looks like you've got some work ahead of ya, and get some pics of it with those rims up, i need some of those for my RX
  7. yea i cant argue for $50 its got 192K on it so im thinking that i might just throw in the good running motor from my GL-10 and maybe rebuild the motor thats in the RX right now.
  8. Ok i went and took a look at it today, the guy couldent find the key right now so i cant see if i can get it running yet, but the outside is in good condition and the inside is just very dirty but seems in pretty good condition i got like 5 pics in my gallery http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=1000
  9. hrm.....100% profit......nah me thinks ill keep it, being i allready have a good running EA82T if the engine is bad and i have only seen like 3 RX's around the area
  10. Well i allready bought it cause i know if i cant get it running i can part it out and sell the parts for more than $50 so i just need to go take a look at it today im not gonna do anything to it till it stops raining/snowing here. ill get some pics today
  11. Im not sure on any details about it yet, i only looked at it for about 30 seconds and it was locked but i got it from the guy for $50 i dont know what if anything is wrong with it, he told me that it just stopped running one day on the highway and wouldent start so he just parked it and that was like a year ago, so im gonna go check it out tomorrow. anything that i should be aware of when i check it out? Anything specific that i should look for? ill get some pics of it tomorrow too.
  12. It was about 8,700 acres and destroyed 17 homes, and at least one business
  13. i Saw the Same Car today but earlier in the day about 3:45pm or so over off of Silver sage in carson, i was also wondering if it was anyones from the board.
  14. Does it Click at all during tight Corners? Have you Checked the CV Boots or have you replaced the CV Joints? thats a pretty common problem on these cars.
  15. .....im blind today and missed that comment, sorry
  16. I Think he means the Cubby Below the Radio in front of the Shifter, And only to install the Trip Controller there and the Head Unit where the stock HU was at just without the Trip Controller.
  17. Yea i never thought of the Dealer/factory installed A/C so that may be it, oh well no big deal thanks
  18. Ok Looking at the Engine bay from the Front of the Car which is further to the right on the engine? the Alternator or the AC Compressor??? cause if i remember right on all the SPFI's that i have seen the Alternator is Always The last engine driven Accessory on the right, but on my SPFI the AC compressor is last (its frozen and will not move, and has no belt on it). I Just dont think that is how it is supposed to be.
  19. Damn man that really sucks, Glad to hear your allright but i would definetly be pissed.
  20. hrm.....guess noone has a Carfax account right now....thanks anyways
  21. Yes you can Hook the wires up to 12V+ and Ground to see if the clutch will kick in but if you decide to run it this way you bypass a few protection circuts so i would only recommend doing this to see if the clutch is still working or not.
  22. Yea thats about what i was thinking, but not for just one of them.
  23. That is pretty expensive, but i guess if you really want those wheels that you would pay that much for them.....
