  1. uhm...i think so, but im not totally sure you would have to find the post and it gives all the details, im still dealing with the Air Suspension on my car so this isent my expertise area
  2. I Plan on using some 2" Plastic ABS piping from Homedepot(the Black Stuff), and some Rubber Intercooler Hose that I Seen at Summit Last week.
  3. If you do a search for Springs you should come up with some posts about doing the spring swap from an 88-89 Honda Accord Hatchback, as they are almost the same size, from what ive read they give you a little more lift with good ride manners, search around for it and you will find more info on it
  4. Yea More Locals are allways good, as soon as i get the 4wd workin in my car im up for some 4wheelin, but welcome to the board, and dont worry too much bout the ticking its normal
  5. As long as you have a basic mechanical ability a carb is pretty simple to rebuild, ive seen discussion of rebuild kits for the hitachis but i never read if there are actually any kits, have you thought about getting another carb from the J/Y and putting that on and seeing if they makes a difference, and then if that helps you have two carbs and you can rebuild one and still have a car.
  6. My Honda Does the Same Exact Thing, Cept its FI not carbed so after christmas is done with im gonna change the plugs and wires and see what kinda of difference that makes, im hoping that this will fix it
  7. Im using a Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe I/C in my car seems to fit well, i just need to figure the best way to plumb it in, and then find a good hood scoop to put on.

  9. Well i got an offer to buy a 74 VW Super Beetle today and im thinking about getting it, but i was thinking how hard would it be to make an EA82T fit and work in the VW Platform, would it be feasible, what are the pros and cons? ER27? EJ20T? i wanna make something thats not like everything else Let me know what you think  :brolleye:
  10. Yea how much for an exhaust??? i need something on my wagon, and i need to get rid of the cats.
  11. Well in my opinion Its not really a bad idea but i would rather do it myself because when a Shop does it they use a machine with cutting wheels on it and it just cuts nice even slits in the tread but they make tiny rubber slivers on the ends of the tread blocks which to me kinda sucks, but if it is done right it can make a difference in traction, i dont know if it helps with tread wear or anything. Les Schawb here will Swap out a tire as long as its in good condition to another rim for $6 per tire. Hope this helps you out some.
  12. Count me in for some "our world is flat" shirts and/or Hoodies, and more if we have kids sizes, i gotta get my son into subes early in life I'd also like to see the design of the 80's print if possible cause i would buy it if i like it
  13. Sounds to me like you either have a big air bubble in there somewhere or maybe its the radiator thats causeing probs, i know they like to rust up inside and get clogged, but i'd prolly bet on the air bubble specially since you just did the T-Stat and stuff. BTW........Happy BirthDay
  14. If you can Find the Place on the Defroster that Breaks the Circuit Then there is a Product That Is like Wire in a Can its just Some sort of Electrical Conducting Liquid, Ive Never Personally used it but ive seen it at the auto parts store for about 5 bucks
  15. When i installed a CD player into my car it was a PITA because someone had stolen the deck in the car before i got it, and cut the radio harness all to hell so i just ran my own wires for the stereo and i ran new wires to all the speakers cause i couldent figure out which wires were which, now that i know its common ground then i could probably figure it out but all the wiring is allready done. oh well it works now
  16. Yea the One Listed Is the one i started out with but i found that some of the parts are harder to get at home depot so i put down the ones i used and i couldent find that website, thanks for posting that up that site is a good write up

  20. Is there anyway to check the Solenoid to see if it works? and i allready know i need to replace the CV's or at least one
  21. Well there are a few but then ive been thinking about it more lately and i dunno, 1) Popping Clicking and Pulling to the Right(Now im thinking this is prolly just the CV) 2) 4WD doesent work, but im kinda thinking this maybe be a wiring prob. 3) Once a while ago when i was still driving it, it wouldent go into reverse it was like it was stuck in drive no matter what gear i put it into, i played with the shifter a little bit and then it worked but ive had other cars with autos do that before so it dident worry me too much. What do you think?
  22. You Can Send about 2.5-3 feet out to us here in reno, we havent even gotten enough to make the roads white, and ive only seen the lawn white once so far this year, i want some snow
  23. Well it has been said that the Springs(not the whole strut) out of a Accord Hatchback(the 80's model) will fit into the sube struts and give you more suspension travel im not sure if this only applys to the EA82s or if there is any difference in the suspension as i have no experience with ea81's. Hope this Helps out some
  24. So im guessing that it just reinforces my thoughts that the tranny is just toast and i should just continue on getting a new one?
