There is NO Rust, not a hint of rust that i can find anywhere on it, engine aint clean but its not like covered in dried oil it looks like its been really well taken care of looks like it just recently got an oil change, there are no rattles when i drive it like there are in my wagon A/C works like its brand new, it only has 94,000 miles on it. i Dont Think $300 is That Bad For it But Im Just Trying To Find out if most of you would pay $300 for it. PS Its a GL-10 Turbo Sedan Loaded Power Everything, Sunroof.

I Might have the opportunity to pick up a 86 Turbo Sedan 4WD for about $300 its an auto but it runs and drives, the 4wd works, interior is almost perfect so do you guys think it would be worth $300??? Let Me Know what you all think

Ok i Went and Got a Boost Gauge today, and im not sure where is a good place to run this too on my sube, ive ran them before but at a quick glance i dident see anywhere that would be a good place to get a reading from. anyone have any suggestions or maybe pictures.....thanks for the help

The PVC part is a great idea, but where did you get the metal peice that comes off the turbo and where did you get the peices of rubber hose that connect the pvc pipes? ive tried finding this stuff but im not havin any luck thanks

So does noone have a how-to on bypassing it on a 87+? im almost done with my boost controller but i need to know how to bypass the overboost.....HELP

Calebz, thats the stock WRX BOV and it looks like its Vented into the Intake, im pretty sure of this but i could be wrong.

i Thought about Drum Brakes Doing that but i have 4 wheel discs so kinda ruled that out

When i first get in my car start it put it in gear and start driving it feels like the brakes are still on or something like that, and it will feel like that for about 2 minutes if i just lightly get on the throttle but if i floor it it just like releases and lunges forward and goes on like nothing happened and it does this any time after the car sits for a little while but especially noticable first thing in the morning, anyone have any idea what this is and how to fix it? it just makes me wonder if its just more problems with my auto tranny......

Ok Now i just need to find out how to bypass the overboost controller and get some rubber piping.

Pre 87: Look between the air filter box and the strut top. There are two round plastic solenoids (one over the over), ea with one vac line plugging into them. The top one is the boost control sol......do not mess with that one. Bottom one is the boost cut sol. Just pull off the short vac line goining into it, and cap it or screw a bolt into it. Done. careful going over 10 psi if it isent intercooled Now can someone Help me With 87 and up??????

Maybe im just not having any luck or what not, but ive searched and ive found out how to bypass this controller on the pre 87s but ive read that its electronically controlled on the 87-up turbo's so how do i disable it on my 87??? ive got my Intercooler now and im thinking about upping the boost but i dont wanna hit the overboost controller any help would be great

I Think i might Take a look at everything with hookin it up tomorrow before work, then when i get paid i need to get a boost controller and up the boost somewhat.....i think i need some rubber hoses to get it hooked up i dont know yet....

LOL i saw how it looked when i ripped it out of the Turbo Coupe so thats no use to me oh well

Has Anyone Installed One of the Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe Intercoolers on there soob? I Got a Free One today and im wondering how difficult it will be to install this on my Wagon and does anyone have any pictures of this setup? just lookin for some more info Thanks

Is it easier to do the Non D/R 5 Speed? or should i do the d/r just so i have the Low option when i need/want it?

Well I Have No 4WD and I have Wierd Clanking/Grinding Noises Im Not Familiar With These Cars and I Was Told That the Noise is Probably A Gear Issue or Something to That Nature, And Im Not Sure Whats up with the 4WD yet i havent checked into that part yet.

Hrm Any Idea How Much it Would Come too? i might be able to come up with the money and drive over to sac.

Hrm, my car is a Turbo but the car that im looking at for the Tranny Is a 88 GL Non Turbo.

Approx. How Long Would it Take to Swap My A/T Out for a 5Speed D/R Tranny, and what all would i need other than the tranny? do i need a new rear driveshaft? Im Basically Asking if this is possible for me and maybe one other guy to do in a weekend? or should i plan to have the car down longer? Thanks In Advance.
