Has the 4 speed.** Late 84-85 had the 5speeds I'm pretty sure...but manual 4, speed on floor. W 4x4 on demand lever...all works as should...manual windows(crank,) No AC .analog dash(no digital) I like all non power stuff..less stuff to go wrong!!! In my opinion..

Well first let me say that I hope the best for your mom. I have been in that situation so I can empathize how difficult & stressful it is.
So my situation is that, now that I am retired, I have begun to restore my 1984 Brat, which I purchased new in '84. I am actually looking for a parts car. These have become difficult to find. I don't think that there is too much compatibility between our models but I will investigate this further. One advantage is that I have a close friend in Albuquerque who restores old Mercedes so it would be a logistical dream to grab your car and process it there.
