  1. I been selling parts here and there for a few months and decided to use an eBay store to help out. As of now parts are limited since I'm still building some sort of stock. Some parts I can't stock and are on order basis (springs, struts, brake components, etc). I will be adding more parts closer to Christmas. Any questions feel free to ask. http://stores.ebay.com/4Zero1-Motorsports
  2. newscoobdude is right, theres someone on SL-i.net doing one now. But theres also a few guys there that have full STi swaps in their BD's.
  3. It's leaking, I rather get something that has superior cooling than the OE radiator.
  4. Looks like I need a new radiator. Should I go with OE Subaru or Koyo? Has anyone heard of them? It sounds like it would be fine.
  5. brus brother: I will see if I can get any readings with the voltage meter cookie: If I don't get anywhere with the readings I will keep your idea in mind Cougar: I printed post #40 for a guide to trace the wires.
  6. Yes and no... My friend gave me a quick walk through. He went to Canada for the week so I'm sort of in the dark. I don't know what to check really. I checked the relay and it was fine. I don't really know what to start. It's like looking for a needle in a hay stack.
  7. I traced the wires from the relay to the backseat. The wires look good and see no defects. I think I'm just going to give up and take it somewhere to get checked. I want to thank everyone for trying to help me out. As soon as I find out what was wrong I'll post it up. Thanks
  8. Yea brus brother, I'm going to check the relay with a voltage meter. My friend is an electrician and he gave me a crash course on how to read it. As for the fuses I went through them and changed them too. I checked/replaced the bulbs, fuses and relay so many times you can see how I'm frustrated. There is no power going to the bulb harness. I want to check some wires, I wish I knew where the wires ran to the back.
  9. The other relay I swapped it with is for the main fan, which is still in use! Next you will ask me if I checked the fuse? or change the bulb right? Sorry guys I'm tired and frustraded
  10. I don't have larger bulbs. My bulbs are factory specs. I just need to find out what is between the relay and the bulbs. If it's just wire I need to find the short somewhere.
  11. All I did with the tails were switch the housings. There was no rewiring necessary. I had them for well over a year. I'm 110% sure it's not the JDM tails that screwed it up.
  12. Yea I read post 22, but I didn't see it at first behind all the wires. There are 3 relays above the fuse panel in the car. They go left from right. Once I can read the other three I'll just give a heads up on what they say. I seen the middle one no problem, its hard to get my hands in there. I didn't think about putting one of the other in there to see if it works but I will do it in the morning. Should I clean the contacts on the relay? I have an electrical contact cleaner. They look like they are in good shape already. At least we are moving in the right direction lol
  13. Well I found the relay, I took it out and tried to take reading. I can't get my hands pass all the wires. It's a real tight squeeze. When I took the relay out and put it back in I heard clicking. What does that mean? did it when I checked the fuses too.
  14. Yea there is one by the drivers left leg under the dash. I'm going to check for those 3 relays. I didn't see them last time. Give me 10-15 mins I'll tell what I see.
  15. First off I would like to say I appreciate the help from everyone. The only relays in the power panel in the engine compartment are for the headlights. There are 4 of them. I'll see if I can find those 3 relays above the fuse panel Olnick was talking about.
  16. My tails don't turn on at all, and I dont have daytime running lights. I had this car for 5 years and I never had a problem like this.
  17. Then I guess I dont have daytime running lights. When the lights switch is off it has to other setting. The next click will turn on my parking lights, the last click will turn on the head lights. I never shut off my headlights (and when I'm trying to find the problem they are on.) When my car is in park no, the lights dont turn off. As for dimming headlights (daytime lights) no I dont have them. I have low and high beams that's it. So heres a quick run through what I tried so far: -Checked all fuses (plus I have the "smart fuse with the LED that glows when the fuse pops) -Checked all 4 bulbs and replaced them with new bulbs -Checked power going to the bulbs, there is nothing at all. The probe reads no power. I have a voltage meter but not sure how to really use it. I tried it and reads nothing.
  18. I'm leaving for work in a few minutes. So when I go outside I will change the fuse to see if it's a bad one. I'll post up when I get home what happens.
  19. My parking and running lights stay on. When I turn the car on they come on. I shut the car off they turn off. When the car is on YES they are turned on. That was the first thing I checked. Then I checked all fuse, they look fine. Then I changed all the tail lights. Theres no power going back to the tail lights and the license plate lights. I would like to test the tail light relay but I'm not sure where it is and what it looks like (still cant find my Haynes book).
  20. I used the probe on the tail lights today. Theres no power doing to them until I use the brakes. Now with out being dubbed stupid but what fuse is for the tail lights? I have like 2 0r 3 that to me could be the fuse. Like you said I would like to see if power is going to the fuse. All the fuses LOOK fine and none of them are burnt. I also have those "smart fuses" that have a LED that lights up when the fuse pops. I would like to try a few more things before I dish out $100
  21. I just noticed that my license plate lights don't work either. The tail light illumination relay is $100.
  22. Thanks Olnick, I'll try to check it out Friday. I been pretty busy and haven't had the chance to check it out. I'll let you guys know if I find anything out. thanks
