September 23, 200916 yr from searching around, the likley culprit seems to be the horn relay- anyone know where this is exactly or have a wiring diagram? 91 legacy wagon. i've checked all fuses, grounds, cruise switch, horn switch, the cruise diaphram holds vacuum, etc. any ideas? thanks
September 23, 200916 yr what kind of car? year, make, model, trans, etc? have you checked the fuses? if the cruise control switches are on the steering wheel then i'd guess the connector behind the steering wheel. but i don't think many (or any) EJ's have them on the steering wheel.
September 23, 200916 yr A common trouble with cruise control systems is the disconnect switches on the brake and clutch pedals aren't adjusted correctly. The system thinks the pedal is depressed and the switch is closed. For the horn problem see if tieing power directly to the horn will make it work. It may be bad. If that is ok then look for the relay under the dash.
September 23, 200916 yr Clockspring? Gets my vote since both don't work. If the car had airbags that light would probably be on as well.
