cool thanks but where can i buy them?? oh and another q... how do i turn on the hi beams...

cool thanks but where can i buy them??

That's the rub - there's no place that sells them. You'll have to find them used or convert the car to 5 lug using XT6 parts. Only two brands ever made in large numbers used that pattern and neither use it anymore.

Not being familar with XT headlight switches, I would direct you to the XT forum for that particular info. http://www.subaruxt.com/forum/

XT headlight switches are known to have some stinking issues..sometimes just a little wiggle the right way fixes it..others is a new switch....as for the windshield...when I had mine replaced a few years ago on my XT6....it was close to $300

the best source for XT/XT6 info it at the link that GD posted.

I put a new windshield in mine last year for $125.00. The insurance paid for it.

That's what I'd like to do, ideally. Was there new damage done for the insurance claim?

When i slid sideways on some ice and hit a pole at 15 mph, it destroyed the passenger door and cracked the windshield.

I fixed the door myself and the insurance co. did not ask any questions, so I did not volunteer any info.

It still took a year of sitting in the sun for it to crack enough to replace it.
