ej wiring help

Featured Replies

i was wondering if anyone would be interested in helping me wire up my swap next weekend possible trading for help i think i have 8 or 9 subies here with lots of stuff . ive already stripped harness and pulled dash. let me know, i know i can do it just want to speed it up and get it done

Talk to Jerry and Robbie, they have done at least one successful EJ harness swap, and Jerry is usually more than willing to help. If you need more help, I can try my hand at it, but Im going to be pretty busy with my fabrication and lift kits and stuff...

Dude, I see your problem. You need to remove that blue wire:lol: And you are going to need more that that one roll of green electrical tape.

Otherwise looks just like mine.

Just make sure it doesn't look like this when you're finished!

I am also having a problem when the car when it runs for awhile, it dies & then I can restart it & it will be fine . somtimes it also seems it get starved for fuel or almost like the car is running on two spark plugs . Then I yurn it off & back on again , then its fine. the swap was done right by northwest ralley Sports ,We got it running and I ran out of $

I have heard of people with carbed cars being swapped needing a separate surge gas tank, basically you pump fuel from the big tank to a smaller fuel cell where it is pressurized for EFI and runs the car off a gallon or two at a time?

Having never done any swaps on cars that didnt start fuel injected I don't know for sure.
