Speedwagon Posted October 31, 2009 Share Posted October 31, 2009 1985 BRAT: Not entirely sure where the water is getting in, but it comes into the cab at the panel joint between the A-pillar and above the door trim pieces. oldschool Posted October 31, 2009 Share Posted October 31, 2009 Yes I have a 87 gl wagon and I had water coming in and could not find the leak. One day I was cleaning the dirt out of the gutter rail and to my surprise, there is a body seam. It is where the roof meets the door pilliar. .there is body sealer that the factory used and over the years ,it cracks. So I scraped it out and cleaned it good and resealed it. No more leak! There are two drain holes in each corner. If they clog up, water will find another way to leak into your car. A straightened coat hanger wire is what I used to clear out the ones in my '84 Brat.
