March 18, 200422 yr After looking at the funky drawing, it looks like the front diff is mounted upside down - is that right? or is it mounted the normal way up?
March 18, 200422 yr Im not the poster on that one...but I think you have to assume that it was done for ease of making the drawing. (re-using the specific art piece) Flipping a diff like that would cause oiling issues as well as make the front tires turn in the wrong direction.
March 19, 200422 yr The front dif is mounted "right side up" The transfer case keeps everything spining in the right direction;) I now have my transfer case, and am geting ready to do this mod to my wagon:clap:
May 9, 200421 yr Now do you have to use the Nissan T-case? Is there anything about that unit that makes it ideal over like a Suziki T-case?
May 9, 200421 yr A sammy case will work too. What U are looking for is a case that has the front and rear out puts in line, and the input off-set. This arangment makes for the best mounting of all the drive train. The Datsun is the best fit, but there are others out there that will work too.
May 11, 200421 yr OK say when you say the Zuki case will work does that meen it has the right configuration? It's been awile since I've had it on it's side.
May 11, 200421 yr Yes the sami case will work, but you have to rotate the whole thing when installing to get the input and outputs vertical. Matt
