Got a flat on the side of the road at night, put on my spare with a very interested female friend trying to be helpful.

 

She kicked the bolt and holder off down a cliff shuffling around behind me.

 

What to do? I got new tires and would love to put the spare back under the hood.

 

just get a correctly threaded bolt and a piece of metal with a hole in it wide enough to hold the wheel down?

 

does some place sell replacements?

 

junk yard(i don't know of any near SF, suggestions?)
