What all needs to be swapped , or do I tell them they're out of luck. If it wont work what is a freshly resealed, rewater pumped, rebelted EA82 spfi worth. note: the reason the good engine is for sale is the weekend after he fixed and service it he was rear ended coming home from Stevens pass. GeneralDisorder Posted December 17, 2009 Share Posted December 17, 2009 Only the block is the same. From the heads on out it's entirely different. You would have to swap only the short block.
