Proud new owner in NC of one of these beauties... I just bought me an 82 GL wagon. It has the cyclops light from the factory. All original, and in amazing condition! I am so happy with my suub purchase, it is all original with 54k... really only 54k miles garage kept all its life!! Was only driven about 4000 miles in the past 16 years. I am only the third owner. Looks like new inside still.. plaid seats look like they were never sat in, and the original paint is still glossy! I am gushing over this thing! Everything works, the air, the 4wd, even the original stereo actually sounds pretty good... and yes even the cyclops works!!

Dont need to really do a thing to it but drive it!

Nice find! Now do yourself a favor and get seatcovers. Those plaid fabric inserts are a pain,the fabric is very brittle over time. Might even want to use another driver's seat and save that one.

 

Lots of Scots in western NC so maybe you appreciate that design.

A nice set of sheepskin ones would protect it and be a nice added amount of cushion to the seat if you can still find them. I 2nd the plaid seat protect that thing they are brittle.

Dude, pics! Is it red by chance? Saw a mint condition red 82 at a dealers years ago.
