Hello,

I have an 06 Impreza wagon with a 2" lift, new wheels and tires coming in the spring. I am looking to purchase a late 80's wagon in the spring also and hope to gather as much info as possible.

 

Here are a few pics of the 06 as it sits for now, minus the carbon hood. I found this site off the side of subarutex's deluxe wagon.

Welcome . Good looking subie. Got to get some bfg mtr's on that thing and go tear up some mud. I am not as familiar with your neck of the woods but I grew up in soldotna. If you are ever down towards anchor point or ninilchik on the kenai peninsula be sure to go try the trails in the caribou hills. They are a blast.

Ninilchik... damn, i havent heard of that place in a long time. Used to do some fishing down there, and all over anchor point.

 

Anyhow, welcome to the club. I grew up in Alaska, but never got to wheel much. All the trails I encountered were always blocked off.

Welcome, I spent several months in Palmer rebuilding a NAC plane at the field. I had a pretty good time when we weren't working, went to the glaciers with a Cub and did all kinds of cool stuff.

That is where I grew up... well, Wasilla is where I lived but its close enough. Lived there until the age of 14 then moved to Anchorage, and lived there till I was 20.

 

I haven't been back there in almost 10 years, but I have friends who tell me it has changed alot.

 

I can't wait to go back to visit.
