EJ Harness Mod Questions

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I'm getting ready to cut down an ej22 harness from a '90 Legacy. Im using Numbchuxs ea to ej updated guide and having trouble identifying the oil light wire number, must not run it thru the ecu plugs as that info looks very complete. My guess is its identified in another schematic that is not covered in this guide. Can anyone give me a hand on this? Ive check for fsm's on line with little luck also.

Thanks,

Mark

the oil pressure light wire and the coolant temp wire dont run through the ECU. but they are green/white and white/green. dont remember witch one is witch...

If you email me, I can send you the 1990 Legacy FSM wiring diagrams in a .pdf. Those should get you a lot closer.justin.rettenmayer@gmail.com

The oil pressure sensor is green/while, and it's pin #9 on connector E2. The temp sensor is white/green, and it's pin #10 on the same connector.

Thanks Suberdave,

My first mod and I consider myself a newb. I found that temp does go thru ecu, plug B48 term 7, must be for cooling fan switching, but I believe its gauge wiring im chasing.

Thanks again, all input appreciated.
