Mt. Hood

Featured Replies

So i was watching the news tonight and noticed that mt. hood is supposed to get a foot of snow tonight. My question is, where are the good wheelin spots up there? Anyone want to show me this weekend?:grin:

Barlow trail would be great, if it had the right amount of snow. The trail's as long as you'd like it be, too :headbang:

Lolo Pass road(Zig Zag) is pretty good right now. Just turn left straight across from the Zig Zag Inn(pizza parlor).

The snow has been coming down pretty good recently. Picture is from last week 4/2. Alot more has fallen since then

I like the area around Barlow pass too, but there's too much snow there right now.

Road 44 between HWY 35 and Dufur is great as well. A bit further away though.

I'll surely be hitting up lolo most of the time, when we move at the end of summer up there.......

A whole 1/2 mile from the turn-off! :headbang:

sweet soobiedoo!! Im about 8 miles from the turn.

You'll have to go up with daredevil1166 and I sometime. Hopefully i have another subaru by then.

Lolo pass is great, always different(yet the same), awesome hiking, views and winter wheeling

Surely, yes...I may just have to go up there daily to check the snow level

We should organize a group, or at least wheel together somewhat regularly. Seems like there's plenty of capable soobs around, but guys like TeamCF having to be the minority on outings. That's certainly not been the case for me, with NWWO up here!!! I think between browns camp, sand lake, hood, and some other spots, we could keep busy.
