How do I get the fog light assemblies out so I can change the bulbs. Thinking about going with yellow fogs in her since I loved them so much in my RS. The 95 is going to have the projector fog lenses.

I did this. Lay down and look up at the fog light .There are two screws that hold the bracket on the car. They will put up a fight. The other way is the three screws that fasten the light to the bracket, but they can be a challange to put back on with the light fastened to the car.

In all i do not remember if they are bolts or screws

never done a 95 but on others i've just pushed the undercovers aside under neath and done them without removing anything from behind. did a 2002 GT Wagon and 99 GT last week this way.

My buddy has an 03 Legacy wagon and his fogs look to be very similar in design to mine. Think we may just make an evening out of our yellow fog installs.

the 99 and 02 i did were slightly different but basically the same. i had to sort of twist/push the plastic cover on one i think underneath to get at it, but it was really easy.

Sometimes it puts up a fight. I broke one by doing it on the car.

Went and looked at the underside of my Outback. Are the shroud covers bolted on to the lower engine bay sheet metal that is directly beneath the valve covers?

Update.

 

I looked up and saw the 2 10mm bolts that hold it to the bumper. Super easy to change compared to my RS fog lights.
