GeneralDisorder Posted July 7, 2010 Share Posted July 7, 2010 I coat the cork in a thin layer of RTV and let it dry. Keeps the cork from absorbing oil and dramatically extends it's life and sealing ability. All cork is NOT the same. Only get your pan and valve cover gaskets from the dealer.
