August 2, 201015 yr I've got a mountain board (actually my kids) and would love to motorize it. Tips, plans, etc would be sweet. Are you bringing that to the Show this year? Love to take a closer look at it.
August 3, 201015 yr haha that's pretty neat. A coworker was telling me he built something like that about 20 years ago, and one of the neighborhood kids got into his garage and took it out one time. He said the thing would go 35-40 mph. So this kid wiped out on it and I guess messed himself up pretty good on it.

March 4, 201115 yr A buddy and I made a standard skateboard motorized when I was a kid. We built a rig with an 8" spring loaded wheel hanging off the back. It mounted to the four bolts that held the rear truck on, so it could be bolted to any skateboard. We never did figure out how to make turning work well that way though. The fifth wheel made it really hard to turn.
