Petersubaru Posted August 16, 2010 Share Posted August 16, 2010 Has anyone ever done this before??..the subi manual shows channel locks pliers holding the injector "after" removal...but how do you even begin to dislodge the unit from the holder when so little of the injector is available to grab onto.. 84gl Posted August 16, 2010 Share Posted August 16, 2010 take vise grips and clamp off the return line that way the fuel pressure on the injector goes up and it just pops out (with the cover off that is) almost always works for me oh by the way I do this with the test plugs hooked up the green ones so the fuel pump will cycle just take the cover off clamp off the line plug the test con. up get in and turn it on thats all it takes Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
