Dealer called me back and stated there is a bad ground wire from TCM.

 

 

My question is where is this at???

 

the TCU or TCM, trans control module, is located under the dash on the driver side of the car. it is about the size of a paperback book.

 

any work in that area just prior to the problem?

Is there a ground wire that goes to the TCM???

 

i'm sure there is, but i would think it is bundled in the wire harness.

wonder what the conclusion to this story is. i have a similar issue on a 99 obw, codes p0748 and p1705.
