November 16, 201015 yr I've got a '96 2.2 in my GL, and needs an alt. Has anyone tried bolting up one of the newer 2.5 alts? I searched some, but found zilch. Looking at the pics on O'Reilly's site, a 110A may just bolt up with some minor wiring mods...... 110>85!!!

November 17, 201015 yr thy should be a direct swap. I think the connector changed....but that is all. Easy to splice.
November 17, 201015 yr 89-94 is round 95+ is square. but yeah just splice whatevr connector is needed, its just 2 wires to splice. SVX is square, but they have different mount system.
November 17, 201015 yr Author Hes back , good to see ya on here hope your move went well Ya, the move went well, and now I'm going to get the snow wagon driving! Thanks for all the replies...I suspected it would bolt right up, and I'll have to rewire anyway to mate it up with the GL harness.
