Where's my hill holder?

Featured Replies

Did the 2000 Outback not have a hill holder? It was one if the quirks I loved about my 98 Legacy. My 2000 definitely just rolls backward after foot on brake/clutch

Pretty sure that they discontinued the hill-holder after 99. Great feature, definitely is missed.

It's back with the CVT and stick.

It might not have it. I know they got rid of it on later models. Not sure which year it was though. Might have been when they switched to the hydraulic clutch system.

That stinks. My mom's 2010 outback has it but you have to activate it with a button everytime you start the car
