I dont like working on dirty cars.....

 

So i TRY to keep 'em clean! :lol:

 

The faulty rear main seal on this GL made quite the mess. But nothing a bit of Purple Power and a pressure washer cannot fix. :)

very nice older wagon... clean!

I like the use of the plastic to cover holes... I use the peal and stick seran wrap as a just in case I drop something .. or gloves etc.. I love that plastic lid idea and will use that next time, also nice garage warm, enjoyed the pics.

can someone tell me the difference in color blue vs black valve covers?

all my EA81's : 82Brat, 83Gl wagon, and 85 brat, all had blue valve covers. I sometimes see black ones though...fill me in for some info.

Someone most likely painted them at one point. As far as i kno all subaru valve covers from that era are supposed to be blue like the air cleaner.
