fiber_tek Posted February 3, 2011 Share Posted February 3, 2011 Can these be polished at all? The reason I ask is that mine are pitted from the Magnesium and Salt they put on the roads here. Fairtax4me Posted February 3, 2011 Share Posted February 3, 2011 Strip the clearcoat. Polish them with metal polish. (more difficult than it sounds) Then re-clear them. You could always scruff them up with 100 gritt and then repaint them with another metalic steal color (Or any color of your choice of course) I repainted mine flat white (Engine enamel) and it works and looks great! -Tom Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Eastwood specializes in auto restoration supplies and the quality of their products is second to none. I've used their products when I restored a couple of classic cars.
