Started a new thread for easier searching later. What are peoples votes for transmission pan sealant?

But if there is one available I will use a formed gasket before sealer. Sealer is just such a PITA on a trans pan.

especially if you have to take it back off... I used high temp red but it seemed to no dry in the valleys of the sealing edge on the pan... lack of o2?

Permatex Right Stuff. Works great and easy to use.

Permatex Black to help hold on the gasket.

When I did mine, used thin layer of Permatex Black on the pan to tack the neoprene gasket in place. Careful not to over torque bolts. Has not leaked yet, + 4 weeks from install.
