Amos & Buster Posted March 29, 2011 Share Posted March 29, 2011 I accidently installed a Purolator Pure One oil filter pl14459 (which was purchased for my girlfriend's 2003 acura) and installed it on my 2000 Forester instead of the pl14460. Can I run the pl14459 filter safely in my Forester or do u reccomend me making a mess and trying to swap filters. Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rooster2 Posted March 29, 2011 Share Posted March 29, 2011 I think I would replace it with the correct filter. I don't think you will loose that much oil, when removing the filter.
