Subaru sealant ever gone bad???

Featured Replies

I had a tube of subaru OEM grey sealant and I used it a few times before, I sealed the oil seperator plate couple of days ago but I checked this afternoon and its still wet/tacky. Temp here was about from 38 to 50F

How long is it for it to dry??? Did I used too much of the sealant? or could it be bad?

Thanks in advance

I suspect the low temps of 38-50 degrees keeps the sealant soft. You might want to warm up the area with a hair dryer, if a heated garage is not available. I am thinking that will harden the sealant.
