June 8, 201114 yr Have the engine out and replaced the oil baffle plate. Can't find torque specs for the flex plate. Anyone have them?
June 8, 201114 yr Very tight - not much help. I usually run them on with an impact and I'd guess about 90 lbs or so. But for those that know I assume you're talking about the bunch of them around the crank that hold the flexplate onto the engine and not the 4 that hold the flexpate to the TC(infact I don't know how you'd ever be able to measure ft/lbs there anyways).
June 8, 201114 yr torque converter mounting mounting bolts = 17 - 19 ft. lbs. according to haynes. EDIT: i wonder if we could get haynes to give us a digital version of their manual so we could put it in a sticky...........? Edited June 8, 201114 yr by johnceggleston
