Hi, Been reading on this site for awhile now never introduced myself so here it is. I just moved to Reno, Nevada to study mechanical engineering at UNR. This is my daily driver a 1981 brat been working on it for 3 years now done most of the work myself.

Closest thing I have to a before pic but I've already done some work here including bumpers and getting it driveable

After this there was lots of rust I repaired and had a friend paint it for me.

Here it is at a car show where I got 3rd place people's choice

Then I wrecked it the day after the car show. A pic after i started repairing the damage.

This time i decided to paint it myself and here it is now being driven everday with some light trail wheeling.

That's where it is now future plans include an lsd and rear disc which i already have and maybe a weber.

As the proud fellow owner of an '81, all I can say is SWEET!!!

 

Mine's not a daily driver (far from it), but when it's out, it mainly sees dirt on our local desert trails. My kids love riding in the back.

 

Someday, I will get that roll bar I keep talking about! Yours is serious eye candy!
