92 subaru legacy switch?

Featured Replies

I just bout a 92 legacy and I don't have the owners manual with it and. Wonderin what is the fuction of the switch next to the radio with the red l.e.d light on it?

Welcome to the USMB.

Many good folks here.

I can't recall the answer to your question.

But I am cleaning up and have a bunch of owners manuals.

If I find one from the early 90's are you interested? I believe I saw a '92 around here recently.

I have had a 92 and 93 legacy, neither had a switch with a LED next to the radio. My guess is it is something a previous owner added, like a subwoofer amp switch or something, especially if it is not labeled.

Yes I would be interested in the 92 legacy owners manual so it tells me everything about the car. And well the switch looks like it was factory put in. Kinda by your right knee between the steering wheel and the radio.

Hm....what happens if you press it? If Dave doesn't have the manual you need, sometimes Subaru will send them out free if asked, though they might not have any left for '92.

my owner manual says it's suspension height adjustment switch o..O

if you mean the button above the cigarette lighter?

send us a pic of where and what it looks like I am sure we can identify it collectively, lots of first gen legacy owners here.

The height adjustment button (switch) is not red though, it's orange. Might be the same thing, but might not be.

I agree that a pic would really help us all out!
