2.5 engine and body parts question

Featured Replies

Ok so my friend has a 98 legacy gt and is in need of a passenger headlight, bumper, radiator, radiator support and fan... will any legacy of the second gen. Body parts fit like headlight and bumper and will any radiator and suppor and fan work if it came off a 2.5 legacy wagon or sedan ?

Parts from any Legacy 96-99 will work. Maybe even parts from a 95. The 95 may have a one piece head light/side light. Later models went to a two piece unit. Sounds like you are replacing parts to a car that has been wrecked?

I know the headlights off a 95,Legacy L are the same as on a 96 Legacy Outback. So the lights off a 95 would work, too.

I know 99 headlight are different and think the new stype started in 98 for Outbacks.

Pay attention to corner lights when buying - that is the difference. That said they may fit and wire up I don' tknow. But it's whether the corner light is part of the same piece as the headlight.

I see yeah he rear ended a truck =s no bueno he's not to worried about the headlight I'm ordering him one new to fit his exact car bump bumper situation is the main thing

he can use a GT, OBW, or SUS bumper.

other Legacy bumpers are different but do bolt up and can be used if the grille is also swapped and foglight cutouts may differ.

I'v got Outback complete fornt bumper assy's - too bad you'r e not close.
