No Dashlights

Featured Replies

No dashlights in my '86 GL Wagon 4X4. Checked all the fuses for continuity with the fluke. All good. Does the headlight switch commonly go bad or is there something else I should be looking for? Don't want to tear the dash apart if I don't have to...

Thanks

I'd bet it is your dash light dimmer switch. Have you monkey'd around with your dimmer? Mine used to flash off and on as I moved it dimmer to brighter and if I messed with it wrong it would go dark! I was always able to mess with mine and it would work then I'd leave it alone. I'd look to your headlight switch first!

pop it out with a screwdriver, jump the pins and wha-la .. dash lights.. free fix
