What's the hot muffler for these things? I havent found a whole lot of info besides people throwing glasspacks on. That may be a bit loud for commuting. Just today I noticed some fiberglass hair strand puking out of the tailpipe and have been looking for an excuse to upgrade so please direct me to the best option!

A Glasspack Turbo muffler is pretty decent. About $30, and is Oval.

Bolt on, there's the Walker Sound FX. If you search RockAuto You'll see APC mufflers listed. I have one of their midpipe resonators, made in Spain, heavy metal with a good paint job.

 

That APC muffler has a 2" inlet, but you have to buy the flanged pipe that goes into the muffler, and a seperate tail pipe. And two clanps.

 

I have a new Walker Quiet Flow installed on one of mine, and it is quiet.
